STOMP retains Act-é Marketing Solutions.

Act-e Marketing Solutions has been retained to provide public relations, advertising and marketing services to strengthen Stomp’s outreach to Hispanics living and traveling to the metropolitan area.

STOMP, the international sensation, plays at New York’s Orpheum Theatre (Second Avenue at 8th Street).

Created by Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas, STOMP is currently playing in New York, London’s West End, and on North American and European tours.

“We are proud to be associated with this extraordinary production that has become one of New York’s longest running entertainments, and to be collaborating with The Stomp Company”, said Carmen Sepulveda, President and CEO of Act-e – “we know this production with its own unique combination of percussion, movement and visual comedy will have cross-generational appeal amongst Hispanics.”

The performers “make a rhythm out of anything we can get our hands on that makes a sound,” says co-founder/director Luke Cresswell. STOMP has created its own inimitable, contemporary form of rhythmic expression: both household and industrial objects find new life as musical instruments in the hands of an idiosyncratic band of body percussionists. It is a journey through sound, a celebration of the everyday and a comic interplay of characters wordlessly communicating through dance and drum. “Stomp is unique in that while it is edgy and humorous, it’s the type of entertainment that has no age boundaries – grandparents, parents, and audiences of all ages always find something that uniquely touches them. The performers are top-notch and engage the audience in a way that results in an experience that is unmatched on any New York stage” stated the producers

STOMP’s international engagements have included successful runs in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, South Africa, Israel, Palestine, Italy, Germany, Poland, Bahrain, and The Acropolis in Athens, Greece. STOMP has also made its unique presence known on cuts on Quincy Jones’ CD Q’s Jook Joint (receiving a Grammy nomination) and in a unique collaboration on the Latin Grammys with the award-winning band Calle 13.
