América TeVe launches Hispanic anti-domestic violence campaign ‘Rompe el Silencio, Corre la Voz’

América TeVe launched Monday, July 26 “Rompe el Silencio, Corre la Voz” (Break the Silence, Spread the Word), a social awareness campaign, against domestic violence. América TeVe, personalities: Maria Laria, Yossie Galindo, Juan Manuel Cao, Nelson Bustamante, Fernando Hidalgo, Oscar Haza, Carlos Otero, Alejandra Molina, Felix Guillermo and Leana Astorga unite their voices in solidarity with all victims of this social scourge.
 
“The goal of our campaign is to raise awareness in society that this is a problem that affects us all and we can not allow this to continue. Many times the victims of domestic violence suffer in silence not knowing where to go. The important thing is to know that there is help and attend to it before it’s too late, “said Natalie Romay, Director of Community Relations for América TeVe.
 
For his part, Omar Romay, President and CEO of América TeVe said “America TeVe’s team is aware of the seriousness of this problem, that destroys our families and therefore, we strive every day to prevent these unfortunate cases in our community.”
 
The public service campaign consists of a series of television commercials to be broadcast on the screen of América TeVe. For the realization of the pieces the channel counted with the testimony of several victims who were part of the factual reality “7 Dias” (Seven Days) hosted by Leana Astorga Monday trough Friday at 10:45 p.m. in which the testimonies were presented on a special series.
