Copa Santander Libertadores 2010 returns to Fox Sports en Español.

Fox Sports en Español announced the return of the 51st edition of Copa Santander Libertadores, the most prestigious soccer championship in Latin America. Fox Sports en Español’s live and exclusive game coverage resumes on July 27th with the first semifinals match featuring Chivas de Guadalajara versus Universidad de Chile. The second round of the semifinals will air live on Fox Sports en Español beginning August 3rd. As the CONMEBOL’s premier international club tournament, Copa Santander Libertadores encompasses over 100 matches that will culminate with the two-part final airing live on Fox Sports en Español on August 11th and August 18th.
 
A fixture in Fox Sports en Español’s lineup since 2002, Copa Santander Libertadores features premier soccer clubs from Mexico and South America. Headlining the semifinals roster this year is Mexico’s most storied team, Chivas of Guadalajara, Chile’s last contender, Universidad de Chile and two of Brazil’s top tier club teams, Sao Paulo and Internacional. After interrupting the tournament to allow for the international soccer action in South Africa, Copa Santander Libertadores 2010 resumes in its semifinals stage. All semifinal and final matches will be telecast live in Spanish, exclusively on Fox Sports en Español.
