Marrero promoted to Editor-in-Chief of Siempre Mujer.

Meredith Corporation SVP/Editorial Director Sally Lee announced that Maria Cristina Marrero has been promoted to Editor-in-Chief of Siempre Mujer.
Marrero had served as Executive Editor since October 2008. During that time, she landed cover interviews with major crossover stars including Jessica Alba, Zoe Saldana and Shakira, and signed on contributors including Food Editor Doreen Colondres, Health Editor Lissy De La rosa, Art and Culture Editor Anjanette Delgado and Lifestyle Editor Cynthia De Saint. Marrero has also expanded Siempre Mujer’s social media and web presence, creating a series of Siempre Mujer TV-branded videos that run on Siempremujer.com.
Marrero started her career at Meredith in October 2007 as Executive Editor of Ser Padres, the Spanish-language sister publication to Parents. Prior to Meredith, Marrero was Fashion and Beauty Editor for Revista Vanidades in Miami, where she was in charge of celebrity interviews and editing and writing lifestyle, fashion and beauty pieces for the magazine. She was also a Staff Reporter for Revista Caras Puerto Rico and has freelanced for EFE News Agency and Univision’s Primer Impacto.
