Dieste’s own, Melisa Quiñoy was one of the few Hispanic’s executives to be part of the judging for the 2010 Effie Awards North America final round, which is currently underway in New York City.

The first-time judge on the Effie Award jury committee describes the experience like this: “I’m very pleased to have the opportunity to be a part of the jury. Analyzing all the amazing work that was submitted is a very interesting experience. The quality of the work and the level of sophistication is very impressive.”

According to Quiñoy, her personal invitation to judge the EFFIE Awards shows the relevance of the Hispanic market in the advertising industry. She adds, “My invitation is another example of the key role that Hispanics continue to play in the global advertising market.”
