Telemundo launches Juntos por Haiti.

Telemundo launched “Juntos por Haiti” (Together for Haiti), a multi-platform humanitarian campaign developed to help the victims of the catastrophic earthquake that shook the country this past January 12.

With “Juntos por Haiti,” the network will support the efforts of the American Red Cross through its programming, Telemundo.com and local stations, making information available in Spanish 24 hours a day. U.S. Spanish-speaking viewers can make their donations to the American Red Cross by calling the toll-free number 1-800-257-7575 or through Telemundo.com/Haiti.

Journalist Carmen Dominicci will lead the campaign, presenting news briefs throughout the day and participating in the network shows to inform viewers about how to help the cause, as well as offering up-to-date information regarding Haiti.
