Mega TV expands new markets.

Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) announced that Mega TV is expanding in the following top twenty Hispanic markets: Chicago, Illinois on WOCK Channel 13, Comcast Channel 599 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 13; Dallas, Texas on KODF, Channel 26; Fresno, California on KSDI Channel 33.2 and Comcast Channel 200, and Palm Springs California on KLPS Channel 19.2. All of these stations will launch Mega TV on Monday, January 11, 2010.

Mega TV is nationally distributed through DirecTV Mas, and with these new affiliates, is available in 11 markets. The popular Spanish language network reaches over 5.2 million households throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico with these new agreements. SBS signed with different media partners in each market to deliver Mega TV to local viewers:

The affiliated stations will transmit Mega TV’s critically acclaimed programming including, “Papparazzi TV Sensacional,” “Maria Elvira Live!,” “Esta Noche Tu Night with Alexis Valdes,” “Los Implicados,” and ”Mega News,” among others.
