América TeVe names Ferro to head of entertainment division.

Miguel Ferro is the new Director of Entertainment for América TeVe. He’ll be in charge of programming and strategic planning for the station’s entertainment and variety shows. He will report directly to Omar Romay, president and CEO of América TeVe.
 
Miguel was most recently executive director of “María Elvira Live,” on Mega TV. He previously worked as executive producer for Telemundo Network’s “Laura” talk show. In Venezuela, he was executive producer of the telenovelas and reality show division of Televen.
