Univision brings home the 2009 November Sweeps.

The Univision Network announced it will close the competitive November sweep period as the leading broadcast network on Friday nights among all Adults 18-34, regardless of language. With the November Sweep period coming to an end, Univision’s primetime hit novelas continue to draw more viewers than a great number of popular English-language shows, among all Adults 18-49 and 18-34, not just Hispanics. In addition, according to Nielsen Station Index (NSI), Univision stations in key markets across the nation took the #1 spot in primetime among Adults 18-34 (Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Chicago (tie), Phoenix and Sacramento) and Adults 18-49 (Los Angeles, Houston and Phoenix), regardless of language. 
 
According to Nielsen’s National People Meter (NPM), Univision ranked as the fifth most-watched broadcast network in primetime among Total Viewers 2+ (3,458,000), Adults 18-49 (1,756,000) and Adults 18-34 (970,000) for all viewers, not just Hispanic.
