Mexicanal offer new digital carriage in Texas, Oklahoma & Kansas.

The Mexicanal Network celebrates its fourth anniversary by expanding its digital broadcast distribution with three new markets. Adding the Spanish-language network this month are Texas’ KGBT-TV (Channel 4.2), Oklahoma’s KOHC TV (Channel 45.3) and Kansas’ KCTU-DT Wichita (Channel 43.2).

“We are very pleased with both the growth of Mexicanal over its four years and the network’s accomplishments,” said Luis Torres-Bohl, Mexicanal’s President. “From the beginning, we have prided ourselves in delivering a truly high-quality news and entertainment experience that keeps viewers connected with their Mexican heritage. Each new launch is gratifying for us, as we get to bring the channel into more homes. We look forward to working with KGBT-TV, KOHC and KCTU-DT to further our growth into Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas.”

“With such a large part of our customer base either from or deeply invested in Mexico, there is a great demand for the unique regional programming offered by Mexicanal. We know this network will become a favorite here,” said KGBT-TV Acting President and General Manager, Ben Tucker.

“We are very happy to become one of the latest Mexicanal affiliates,” said Jorge Rossi, KOHC TV’s President and CEO. “I am convinced that this network will be an industry success story for years to come.”

Added Ron Nutt, President and General Manager of KCTU-DT: “Mexicanal’s unique lineup is a truly authentic Mexican offering that will provide our Spanish speaking customers something they can’t get anywhere else.”
