Uzal named a 2009 South Florida Mover & Shaker by Business Leader Magazine.

José R. Uzal has been honored by Business Leader magazine with a 2009 Movers & Shakers Award.

Now he owns Hispanic Media Works, Inc., a flourishing company that manages Spanish TV stations. In 2004 the company signed a lucrative contract to manage Palm Beach County’s first Spanish-language TV station WBWP Mega 57. This made Uzal the station’s general manager and vice president.
