Telemundo dresses to the nines for ‘Fiesta Latina en la Casa Blanca’.

The most prestigious White House musical event that commemorates Hispanic Heritage Month, comes to Telemundo exclusively in Spanish with “Fiesta Latina en la Casa Blanca”, a television special that will air on Sunday, October 18 at 6pm/5c.

In an elegant setting on the South Lawn of the White House, “Fiesta Latina en la Casa Blanca” pays tribute to Hispanic musical heritage in a concert featuring the greatest Latino stars. In this one-hour special, viewers will enjoy musical performances by Gloria Estefan, Marc Anthony, Jos? Feliciano, Los Lobos, Tito El Bambino, Thal?a, Aventura, Sheila E., and appearances by Eva Longoria, George L?pez and Jimmy Smits.

As part of the celebration, Telemundo, the only U.S. Spanish-language network to broadcast this special, one in a series of concerts at the White House, will also provide special coverage on “Al Rojo Vivo con Mar?a Celeste” (M-F 5pm/4c) and “Noticiero Telemundo” (M-F 6:30pm/5:30c).

Through Telemundo.com, users will have access to a photo gallery of the concert and a section dedicated to Hispanic Heritage Month highlighting Latino role models in various fields, including community affairs, society, politics, the music industry and the world of entertainment.

Mun2, the cable channel for young bilingual Latinos, will air the concert in the near future.
