Telemundo Network partners with Super Bowl XLIV.

Telemundo announced that it was named the exclusive Spanish-language television media sponsor for the South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee in support of Super Bowl XLIV, taking place February 7th, 2010 at Dolphin Stadium in Miami, Florida and for the Pro Bowl 2010 on January 31, 2010, also held at Dolphin Stadium.

“We are proud to play a part in the Super Bowl excitement as the big game returns to South Florida next year,” said Don Browne, President of Telemundo. “Partnering with the South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee for these two major NFL games is a perfect collaboration, as the US Hispanic audience has always relied on Telemundo to be the ultimate destination for sports.”

Telemundo will work with the South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee, the liaison between the National Football League and the local South Florida community in the planning and executing of Super Bowl XLIV. The South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee will support multiple community events that the National Football League is sponsoring. Telemundo will have a presence at these events which include: Super Kids/Super Sharing, NFL Yet’s, One World, Rebuilding Together, Habitat for Humanity, Play 60 Challenge, Super Learning, and Emerging business.

This year’s Super Bowl marks South Florida’s tenth year as a Super Bowl host city, making it the host city with the highest number of Super Bowls to date. South Florida is also welcoming the Pro Bowl to Dolphin Stadium after having been in Hawaii for thirty years.
