NPM Broadcast Prime Highlights Week of 09/21/09
• In the first week of the 2009-2010 Season, Univision was the #1 broadcast network in the country on Friday night among all Adults 18-34 (1.2 million), regardless of language. Additionally, Univision was the #2 network in overall primetime on Friday night among Teens 12-17 (242,000) and #3 among Adults 18-49 (2.1 million).
• The top 2 programs on Friday night among Adults 18-34 were on Univision with #1 “Mañana es Para Siempre (Tomorrow is Forever) and #2 “En Nombre del Amor” (In the Name of Love). Additionally, “Mañana es Para Siempre (Tomorrow is Forever) was the #3 program among Adults 18-49 and Teens 12-17 on Friday night.
• Univision was the #5 network in the country for the entire week in overall prime among all Adults 18-49 (1.9 million), Adults 18-34 (1.1 million), Households (2.2 million) and Persons 2+ (3.7 million). Additionally, Univision ranked #1 among Kids 2-11 (450,000).
• Last week Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX on 3 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-34, 1 night among Adults 18-49, and 4 out of 7 nights among Teens 12-17.
• For the week, Univision had 2 of the Top 30 Programs among Adults 18-34.
• In the 8pm hour, “En Nombre del Amor” (In the Name of Love) helped Univision capture the #4 network ranking among Women 18-34 (747,000), beating NBC, CW and Telemundo. Additionally, the novela earned the network the #5 ranking among Adults 18-49 (1.9 million), Adults 18-34 (1.2 million), Women 18-49 (1.3 million) and Teens (252,000).
• In its final weeks, “Mañana Es Para Siempre” (Tomorrow is Forever) made Univision the #3 network in the M-F/8-9pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.8 Million) and Women 18-34 (1.1 million). Among Adults 18-34, every episode of the novela beat the Season premieres of CBS’ “CSI” and “The Good Wife;” FOX’s “Bones;” ABC’s “Eastwick” and NBC’s “Law and Order: SVU” among other programs.
• “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) made Univision the #1 broadcast network on Saturday night among Kids 2-11 (347,000) and ranked #3 among Adults 18-34 (533,000).
• “¡Viva el Sueño!’s” (Live the Dream!) fifth episode delivered its highest audience on Sunday 8-10pm among Adults 18-34 (693,000) and Adults 18-49 (1.2 million) an increase over the premiere week of +22% and +14%, respectively.
