The Spanish Beisbol Network (SBN) has named Sergio del Prado as its new Vice President of Sales. SBN, which has focused on its core local MLB markets, will expand its efforts nationally. Mr. del Prado will spearhead this effort.

“The expansion of our sales team further strengthens our ability to meet the needs of our sponsors and MLB teams,” noted William Kulik, President and Founder of SBN. “Sergio del Prado’s comprehensive understanding of sales and integrated sports marketing will benefit SBN, our sales network, and clients.”

Previously, Mr. del Prado oversaw sponsorship and Spanish broadcast sales for the Los Angeles Dodgers. During 8 seasons at the Dodgers, he increased sponsorship revenues over 100% and created a Spanish Radio Broadcast Sales department which reached a complete sell out in the 3rd season.

Prior to the Dodgers, Mr. del Prado served as General Manager for the Los Angeles Galaxy, Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing for the 1999 FIFA Women’s World Cup, and Director of Marketing, Corporate Sales for the Los Angeles Kings. For the past year, he was a sports marketing consultant to the Los Angeles Kings, LationBaseball.com, and Arena Media Network. Mr. del Prado will be based out the SBN’s Los Angeles office.
