DDB Mexico aiming at being one of the best creative agencies in Iberoamerica.

In the search to develop an innovative, convergent integration model of agency, and place DDB one step ahead in the communications market, Hernan Ibarra and Walter Aregger have taken the leadership at DDB as Co-presidents of the agency in Mexico.

Aregger and Ibarra were General Creative Directors at Ponce Buenos Aires working for some of the most emblematic brands in Unilever’s portfolio such as AXE, Rexona and Impulse at regional and global levels.

In their over 15 year careers, Aregger and Ibarra have gained international recognition and won a number of prizes among which are six Cannes Lions for their work for Coca-Cola, Sprite and Axe, 5 Clios, besides a Grand Prix at Fiap, El Ojo de Iberoamerica, El Sol Festival and 2 Grand Prix at the Effie awards.

In addition, it has also been announced that Omar Carrion – a Mexican adman and a former Coca-Cola client – has been designated General Director of operation to implement the new convergence model that DDB Latina is developing in the USA, Latin America, and Spain.
