WAPA America partners with Universal Sports to broadcast Boxing.

WAPA America will broadcast the best matches from the 2009 AIBA (International Boxing Federation) World Championships from Milan in partnership with Universal Sports.
“We are excited to partner with WAPA America to broadcast the World Championships and showcase the great fighters from Puerto Rico and Latin America,” said Claude Ruibal, Chief Executive Officer of Universal Sports. “Boxing is a welcome addition to our long-list of Olympic and lifestyle sports programming and we’re confident it will be a success with our viewers.” Universal Sports will air an encore presentation of the event in October.
