Titan Broadcasting announced that Cesar Angulo will join the Titan station KTNC-TV in San Francisco as President and General Manager effective today. KTNC-TV is the Estrella affiliate serving both San Francisco and Sacramento from a signal broadcast from Diablo Peak.

Cesar Angulo joins KTNC and Titan from Telemundo where he was previously the acting GM and the Vice President of Sales for KSTS-TV Channel 48, the Telemundo station serving San Francisco. Prior to his tenure at KSTS and going back to 1997, Angulo held various sales management positions with Telemundo starting in Chicago where he was Local & National Sales Manager for WSNS Channel 44, then Director of Sales for Telemundo and NBC at the NBC/Universal National Sales Office in Miami. “Cesar will take KTNC-TV to the next level,” said Bert Ellis, President of Titan Broadcast Mgmt. “We are very excited to have secured the Estrella affiliation to KTNC for both San Francisco and Sacramento and even more excited to have recruited Cesar Angulo to join our station as well. Cesar is the right manager at the right time to lead the KTNC staff to take advantage of this huge opportunity. Cesar is a very solid player in the Spanish television business and we are very proud to have him join our team given this great growth opportunity.”

Janet Schoff, VP-Sales for Titan had this to say about Mr. Angulo; “Cesar will be a great addition to KTNC. He will implement our strategy very quickly. We look forward to dramatically improving the advertising investment on KTNC.”

“This is a spectacular broadcast opportunity for me,” said Mr. Angulo. “Estrella is the up and coming hip network for the Spanish marketplace. We have a signal that covers both SF and Sacramento which allows us to sell into both the 9th and 11th largest Spanish television markets. We are going to be a major force. I am joining some great people at Titan and KTNC and have several more key people that will join us in short order. Watch us grow.”
