Fox Sports en Espanol announces lineup for 2009 Major League Baseball Season.

Fox Sports en Espanol announced its exciting lineup of exclusive Spanish-language broadcasts for the 2009 Major League Baseball (MLB) season, beginning this Saturday, April 11 when the Boston Red Sox take on the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

As part of a seven-year deal through the 2013 season, a sublicensing agreement with Fox Broadcasting Company, Fox Sports en Espanol will continue to offer live and exclusive Spanish-language coverage of approximately 26 regular season games each year. The network’s programming will feature top matchups like never before, including NY Yankees v. Boston Red Sox on April 25 and a National League grudge match between the World Series Champion Philadelphia Phillies and
the LA Dodgers on June 6.

Fox Sports en Espanol will also offer live and exclusive Spanish-language coverage of the MLB postseason, including the League Championship Series and the World Series. The All-Star Game will return to the network for the sixth consecutive season on July 14, live from Busch Stadium in St. Louis.

Adrian Garcia Marquez, renowned sportscaster for Fox Sports en Espanol, will be returning for his fifth year to provide play-by-play announcing. Award-winning color commentator Jose Tolentino and former MLB catcher Carlos Hernandez will be charged with in-studio commentary and analysis.
