Bond – SEVP of Telemundo Studios, Production and Broadcast Operations.

Telemundo has promoted Derek Bond to Senior Executive Vice President of Telemundo Studios, Production and Broadcast Operations. The announcement was made by Don Browne, President, Telemundo, to whom Bond will continue to report.

Most recently, Bond was Executive Vice President of Telemundo Studios and Broadcast Operations. He will continue to oversee productions at Telemundo Studios, where he has supervised more than 30 novelas from the U.S., Colombia and Mexico including most recently the worldwide successes of Dona Barbara, El Rostro de Analia and Sin Senos No Hay Paraiso. Bond will continue to supervise the proven entertainment shows 12 Corazones and Caso Cerrado. He will also continue to manage all Network Operations (Technical Production, Program Editing, Scenery, Facilities, Engineering, Traffic, and Operational Compliance).

In his new role, Bond will additionally oversee various Network productions including the morning show Levantate, several day-time weekend shows (Nitido, Descontrol, Fotogenicas, and Tu Hogar) as well as Network Specials (Billboard Music Awards, Miss Universe and El Grito among others). In his new capacity, Bond will work with the show producers and executives to improve overall production quality and synergies among all the properties, leveraging and maximizing the production capability and expertise of Telemundo Studios.
