Generation-ñ.com announces its spring line up for 2009.

Many of the original shows created for 2008 will return, including favorites like Novela, a comedy that tells the story of 4 Miami buddies shooting a fly-by-night telenovela; Barrios, a docu-series showcasing different aspects of Latino life in the USA and beyond; Planet Rosemary, hosted by the self-proclaimed Sex-in-the-City-style Latina astrologer Rosemary Canals, who prognosticates with an off-the-cuff comedic style; ñ Life starring Melissa Hernandez of Sábado Gigante fame, chronicling different aspects of Latino Culture with a youthful perspective; and ñ Sports, co-hosted by Alina Sedano, covering everything from mixed martial arts to figure skating.
New on the scene is Company Jones, an insightful and clever show about business success with a Latin twist, hosted by small business and Miami-market expert Michelle Villalobos; Scenes from a Bubble, a drama set against the recent Miami Real Estate bubble; ñ Style covering fashion and lifestyle trends;and The AMY Show which explores gay and lesbian issues from a Latin perspective.
Finally, pilots green-lighted for a full season include Ed IN the city, which chronicles the night-life (and everyday-life) of sexy host Edelyn Barrera, and 45 RPM a unique web show that brings viewers up-close and personal with today‚s hottest Latin music stars.
Co-founder and Creative Director Bill Teck describes the website as “Latino 2.0, the Latin thing, but with more cowbell,” and adds “this is a unique concept in that as a channel, it’s entertainment that appeals to Latinos as a niche market with the variations from city to city.”
Generation ñ plans a strong promotional and public relations campaign in 2009 to continue growing its viewership and attracting top advertisers.
