Mega TV debuts ‘El Chulo de la Mañana’.

Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. (SBS) announced that Mega TV will debut its  popular Los Angeles radio morning show “El Chulo de la Mañana”  this Monday, January 12 from 6 AM to 9 AM (ET), 9 AM to 12 PM (PT) through Direct TV Más, Channel 405. 

“EL Chulo de la Mañana” is the latest show to join the “Radio on TV” concept that Mega TV offers its loyal radio and TV audiences. “ELChulo de la Mañana” is hosted by Joaquin Garza, also known as “El Chulo.” Garza has created a niche in the Spanish Radio industry, maintaining a loyal audience base that has followed him throughout his successful radio career. In his 22 years in radio, Garza, who was born in Mexico, has worked in top radio markets such as Los Angeles, San Jose, San Francisco, Sacramento, Phoenix, Dallas and Austin, Texas. On the “El Chulo de la Mañana” show, Garza is assisted by his inseparable sidekick Raul Bernal, also known as the ever popular “Doña Mela” and Denise Garcia gives the show a hip female point of view. 

“’El Chulo de la Mañana’ in Los Angeles will give Mega TV audiences a very funny, interactive morning show that covers topics that are part of everyday life: Work, family, relationships, infidelity, entertainment and community issues,” said Cynthia Hudson Fernandez, Chief Creative Officer and Executive Vice President for Mega TV “Garza’s show has been a great success in numerous radio markets, and we are confident that our TV audience will love ‘El Chulo de la Mañana’ and connect with Garza’s unique style.” The show combines jokes, skits, parodies, and current events, interviews with listeners, live sport broadcasts, entertainment and news from professional correspondents.
