Wing Creatives to document Cannes 2012.

Two rising star creatives from WPP’s Wing are heading to Cannes this year and will be blogging their experience to give the POV of a young creative in Cannes.

Their mission: Giving record/insight of the young creative experience at Cannes.

Said Fayad and Marc Duran will cover Cannes 2012 and provide an array of content (videos, instagram, tweets, etc.) They will also be discussing what creative is doing well, interviews with top creatives and cover what really goes on behind the red carpet.

A bit about the name: Flip Flops and socks is derived from the image of the stereotypical nerd tourist who wears socks and flip flops

About the creatives: Said Fayad and Marc Duran, were selected as 2012 Young Creative winners for work submitted to the “Circulo Creativo Latino de Estados Unidos” competition. The grand prize awarded was a fully paid trip to the 2012 Cannes Lion Festival.

Wing developed a: 60s video for the international competition to encourage recent graduates and other young creatives to join El Circulo, an organization created in 1999 to increase interaction between US-based Hispanic creatives.
