Our Industry colleague and friend Tony Hernandez of Latino Broadcasting Company and founder of the Immigrant Archive Project has been listed by NBC Latino at one of the Top Twitter That Matter.
Tony Hernandez — 1,200 followers: Curating this list based on number of followers would be a sure fire way to lessen its relevance. Tony Hernandez founded The Immigrant Archive Project, an initiative which seeks to take back the word “immigrant” from portrayals Hernandez feels don’t represent the immigrant he knows. The project began with Latino immigrants but has expanded to immigrants of all races and ethnicities. For Hernandez, his labor of love, is a way for immigrants to document their stories for their family and country.
