NGLC Media, Marketing & Entertainment Conference

The New Generation Latino Consortium http://www.NGLC.biz>, the only organization dedicated to educating and informing the business and entertainment worlds about the importance of the New Generation Latino (NGL) market, is hosting the fifth installment of the industry leading ‘NGLC Media, Marketing & Entertainment Conference’ in New York City on Monday April 2, 2012.

Hosted by Time Warner Inc. and presented by mun2, Telemundo’s Young Latino cable network, the one-day conference will take place in NYC at The Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle. Representatives from featured co-sponsors nuvoTV, Univision News and Terra Networks USA will also be on hand to exclusively discuss New Generation Latinos’ impact in the fields of media, marketing and entertainment. In addition to a brand new venue, the event boasts a totally new line-up of speakers along with new groundbreaking formats and very special guests including CNN anchor and correspondent, Soledad O’Brien, who will be doing a one-on-one with a surprise executive guest to be announced shortly.

Coupled with three dynamic panels spanning TV, Digital and Advertising and a Celebrity Sit-Down with co-stars from Showtime’s Dexter, David Zayas and Lauren Velez, two new formats called Iconoclasts and Ignite will be welcome additions into this year’s mix. Iconoclasts will feature two iconic speakers who come from very different fields and backgrounds sharing their passion for NGLs impact on today’s society. Ignite will bring an energy all its own, requiring speakers to present a focused point of view about the NGL market in exactly 5 minutes using just 20 slides that auto-advance every 15 seconds. After a full day of NGL insights and excitement, including a keynote luncheon, the conference will culminate with a VIP cocktail reception also hosted by Time Warner Inc. at the Time Warner Center.

At a pivotal time in the evolution of the U.S. Hispanic market, the NGLC Conference is keenly focused on answering questions surrounding the hottest topics within our industry such as:

· Will advertisers embrace a “Total Hispanic Market” approach inclusive of NGLs using mainstream media?
· What role will U.S. Hispanic agencies play in helping marketers to reach NGLs if not in Spanish only?
· If NGLs are the U.S. Hispanic majority, what is the “fair share” spend to effectively reach them?
· What is the role that large buying and planning conglomerates will play in U.S. Hispanic media?
· What is the balance between culture, language and lifestyle when communicating with NGLs?
· How will NGLs influence the 2012 election given that so many are within the voting age range?
· How can brands benefit from NGL’s heavy consumption of Digital content and technology?

True to form, the NGLC conference will deliver a thought-provoking agenda filled with dynamic executive-level speakers addressing the NGL market head-on. As the only business conference exclusively focused on the New Generation Latino opportunity, the NGLC is a must-attend for those seeking a better understanding of how to tap into the MAJORITY of U.S. Hispanics leading bilingual and bicultural lives. Leading up to the main event, HispanicAd.com will once again serve as the exclusive trade media partner, providing videos of speakers sharing glimpses of the topics to be discussed.
