Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility 18th Annual Symposium in San Francisco.

The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR), an advocacy organization leading the charge in promoting Hispanic inclusion in Corporate America, announces its 18th Annual Symposium: The Power of Hispanic Inclusion. The event, which will take place on May 17th and 18th, 2010 at the Ritz Carlton in San Francisco, California, brings together professional, academic and non-profit leaders as well as elected officials from across the country to participate in panel discussions and open dialogue centered on the significance of Hispanic inclusion in our nation’s corporations.

“HACR’s Symposium participants represent the most recognized and highly respected Fortune 500 companies,” said Carlos F. Orta, president and chief executive officer of HACR. “We’re proud to bring these outstanding individuals together for the common goal of exploring the present and future role of Hispanics as corporate and community leaders.”

This year’s panels will focus on corporate governance best practices, introduce the work of the Alliance for Board Diversity, offer solutions on how to build the leadership pipeline and discuss current Hispanic inclusion efforts and thought leaders’ perception on how the Hispanic community will fare over the next four years.
