Porto Rico (Puerto Rico) according to the the December 1924 issue of National Geographic was “The Gates of Riches” and the “Colorful Porto Rico”.

Having grown up on the island of Puerto Rico in the 60’s & 70’s this is a real treasure to put into my container of life’s memories that I am storing to leave my kids.
As the song says “si notas que una lagrimas me brota sera que camino las calles de mi pueblo en el ventorillo aquel del mil recuerdos sera que sueño que estoy en Puerto Rico”.
How about some pasteles, morcilla, guineitos hervidos?
