Jarritos & Mineragua revive Aguinaldo Campaign for 2008.
October 4, 2008
Jarritos and Mineragua are reviving the “Aguinaldo”, or Christmas Bonus, tradition bringing back their successful promotional campaign “Aguinaldo Navideno” for 2008.
In Mexico, and in many Latin American countries, law requires that employees receive an additional paycheck at year’s end. This “Aguinaldo”, or Christmas Bonus, is highly anticipated and much needed, especially during the Holiday season.
Novamex wanted to preserve this time honored tradition by offering this promotion during the 2008 holiday season. Consumers will have an opportunity to win one of five (5) $5,000 cash prizes. “This year the campaign has been designed with the economic crisis in mind, as a means of extending a helping hand to our customers, especially during the 2008 holiday season,” said David Flynn, Novamex Group Brand Manager. “At the same time, we are doing something exciting for our retail partners, and that is giving them a reason to display our products during a relatively slow season for soft drinks,” Flynn added.
The promotion will run from November 3rd – 30th, 2008. Consumers may participate by filling out an official entry form found at participating grocery stores.
“This fantastic campaign reflects Jarritos and Mineragua brands understanding of their consumer by offering a fun, and relevant promotion. We feel great about our customers in the U.S. benefiting from this promotion especially during difficult economic times,” said Jim Lucero, managing director of Camelot Communications, media and promotions agency
for Novamex products.
