The 5th Annual 2008 Sobre Ruedas Awards will be presented on Friday, November 7th, as part of the 38th South Florida International Auto Show in the Miami Beach Convention Center. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 12 noon in the Main Floor, by the General Motors stand.
The event promises to be a great success, as the editorial Board of Sobre Ruedas will present the winners in 14 different categories such as Best Economy Car, Best Sedan, Best Sports Coupe, Best Sports Sedan, Best Luxury Car, Best SUV, Best Pick-Up Truck, Best Minivan, Best Crossover, Best New Product and the anticipated, Vehicle of the Year. A special recognition award, Hispanic Pride, will also be presented to an outstanding member of our Hispanic community that has succeeded in the automotive industry thus becoming a role model for our younger generations. Other special awards include the Manufacturer of the Year and Hispanic Choice Award, this one, selected among the listeners of ESPN Deportes Radio and unique visitors of autos.batanga.com.
