El Pueblo signs on with The King Partnership’s Creativo Mercadotecnia.
September 16, 2008
Creativo Mercadotecnia announced that it is working with a leading North Carolina advocacy organization to provide marketing and creative services.
Creativo is working with El Pueblo, a North Carolina non-profit statewide advocacy and public policy organization dedicated to strengthening the Latino community. One of the primary goals of the organization is to promote cross-cultural understanding between people of Anglo and Latino descent. El Pueblo is working closely with Creativo to develop a ‘call to action’ campaign to encourage people to contact their elected representatives to voice their concerns that the issue of non-residents in the US is not being adequately addressed. The ads also touch upon the reason most undocumented people come to this country – to find jobs and create a better life for their families.
“The immigration issue needs to be at the forefront of concerns for our elected officials,” said Tony Asion, Executive Director of El Pueblo. “The campaign we are developing will encourage people to contact their government representatives to voice their concerns that the issue isn’t being addressed.” The campaign which is being produced by the company’s in-house production company, Capstone Production Group, will use primarily broadcast media – television and radio – to convey this important message.
