Tapestry names new Officers.

Four Tapestry execs were elevated to VP/SVP levels, as announced by Monica Gadsby, CEO of SMG Multicultural, a division of Starcom MediaVest Group.
“These four women have been instrumental in building and shaping Tapestry’s rich history in the multicultural media and marketing space,” said Gadsby. “Their dedication to our clients, our people and our product serves as an inspiration to the entire Tapestry family.”
Dana Bonkowski, VP/Media Director
Dana has long played a leading role in developing Miller’s strong Hispanic marketing efforts. In 2007, she and her team developed Miller Mission: Fútbol, an innovative online videogame experience that allowed soccer fans to experience the camaraderie and drama of the sport firsthand. The program was recognized at Hispanic Media Planning Excelencia Awards as a campaign
that demonstrated the “Best Use of the Internet.”
Terri McKinzie, VP/Media Director
As media director for local and national investment at Tapestry, Terri’s client responsibilities include Best Buy, Kellogg’s and Suzuki. In 2007, she partnered with local Univision and Telefutura affiliates to help Comcast host the first-ever Digital Town Forum in Chicago to drive awareness about the provider’s services within the local community. The program went on to win the award for “Best Use of TV” at the Hispanic Media Planning Excelencia Awards.
Isabella Sanchez, SVP/Managing Director of Tapestry Miami
A 15 plus year media veteran, Isabella currently manages the Tapestry Miami office, overseeing client responsibilities for Americatel, H&R Block, Kellogg’s and Levi’s, as well as local buying. During her tenure, she has taken an important leadership role in new business, helping the agency secure new business wins in 2007 with H&R Block and Checkers.
Marla Skiko, SVP/Director of Digital Innovation
Leading digital activity across Tapestry and MV42°, Marla has helped build SMG Multicultural’s digital team from the ground up. In the last three years, she and her team have grown SMG Multicultural’s digital media spend five fold. In addition, she has helped clients like Kraft, Best Buy, Miller and P&G understand and embrace the potential of multicultural consumers
across the various digital platforms.
