Nielsen Ratings – LatinWorks Scores with Two Top Ten Spots

Nielsen AIG recently released their Top Ten list of most liked Spanish-language TV and LatinWorks had two spots on the list for their work with M&M/Mars and Domino’s Pizza.
In the number 5 spot is an adaptation of the M&M’s candies “Is it in you” campaign created by BBDO Chicago. The spot shows the M&M’s candies in their everyday life – walking the dog, getting a haircut, making copies and going to the movies. It’s all about unleashing the amusement in you.
And coming in at number 7 was a new spot for Domino’s promoting the “You Got 30 Minutes” campaign. The LatinWorks team developed a strategy to put a unique Hispanic spin on the creative to truly reach the target audience. When customers are told they have 30 minutes for their pizza to arrive, they realize they have time to do the things they hadn’t had the time to get done before. Several scenarios play out with one parent showing his teenage son how to ride a bike and a woman who finally updates her early-nineties bulky cell phone for a more current phone.
This recognition and likeability of these ads are another notch in the agency’s belt for 2008, which continues momentum that begin with their first Super Bowl spot in 2007, which won a Bronze Lion award at the Cannes Advertising Festival, as well as a 2008 follow-up Super Bowl ad.
