PODER Magazine acquires Hispanic Enterprise magazine and launches local editions in Venezuela, Argentina and Peru, in addition to its existing publications in Miami, Mexico, Colombia and Chile.
“These are difficult times for print media, but there is no better moment to grow a strong brand,” said Isaac Lee, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of PODER. In the US, the newly titled PODER Enterprise, will grow its circulation to 125,000* copies per issue and will publish 10 issues annually. Through a partnership with the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC), PODER Enterprise will reach all of the USHCC’s affiliates in the US, further expanding the magazine’s footprints in this growing market. Additionally, PODER Enterprise will maintain its exclusive content partnership with The Economist. PODER Enterprise will report on Latinos in power, and will premier a new section called Enterprise. The section will be directed towards Latino entrepreneurs looking for ways to grow their businesses, and will also cover business and local leaders that are positively impacting the community. PODER Enterprise is published in partnership with Televisa Publishing + Digital, the world’s leading producer of Hispanic content and Spanish-language media.
“This is a perfect partnership. PODER has the best content in the market. Content is King, but our experience has taught us that distribution is King Kong. In that, Televisa is an industry leader,” stated Emilio Azcarraga, Chairman and CEO of Grupo Televisa.
In addition to its print publications, the PODER group publishes editorial news and analysis through its daily newsletter and website, www.poder360.com.
“By reaching the business elite in eight different markets, with stories that are relevant to each specific region, we know we can offer advertisers a very unique product,” said Nicolás Ibargu.en, Publisher, PODER.
