Fútbol de Primera adds new Radio Stations.

Fútbol de Primera is proud to announce that KSJO La Preciosa 92.3 FM in San Francisco/San Jose and five UniRadio stations in San Diego (XHTY 99.7 FM, La Invasora; XEMO 860 AM, La Poderosa; XHFG 107.3 FM, Pulsar; KERCN 1470 AM, Radio Hispana; XHA 94.5 FM, La Invasora) have joined our Radio Network, becoming the official radio stations to broadcast all of Fútbol de Primera’s programs and games in their markets.

With the addition of KSJO La Preciosa 92.3 FM and UniRadio, Fútbol de Primera now boasts an impressive 85 radio stations, 23 of which are FM, that carry our programs, games and World Cup coverage.

Starting with today’s Mexico vs. Argentina match, KSJO La Preciosa 92.3 FM and UniRadio will air all Mexican National Team World Cup qualifying and friendly matches and the prestigious 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, making them the leading destinations for Hispanics in their markets to find the most comprehensive soccer coverage by the most impressive and prolific team of soccer personalities. With three-year contracts, the stations will also broadcast the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup, games from the Copa Libertadores and the Copa Sudamericana as well as weekly Mexican League matches, amongst others.

KSJO La Preciosa 92.3 FM and XERCN 1470 AM will also air the Fútbol de Primera Daily Show from Monday to Friday, 7:00pm to 8:00pm in San Francisco/San Jose and 3:00pm to 4:00pm in San Diego. Featuring legendary sports announcer Andrés Cantor, the Daily Show will provide the stations’ audience with breaking news, analysis, perspective and timely interviews from the FDP team. The stations will also broadcast a weekly recap show on Sundays and daily vignettes, two-minute updates that highlight interviews and the latest breaking news from Mexico and the rest of the world.
