Tequila Cazadores sponsors De La Hoya vs. Forbes fight.

Tequila Cazadores announced the launch of the 2008 Las Chicas Cazadores 20-stop U.S. tour.
The announcement came at the tour’s first stop in Los Angeles during the weigh-in for Homecoming — the eagerly-awaited bout between boxing’s reigning superstar Oscar De La Hoya and former world champion Steve Forbes.
Marketing activation surrounding the bout includes launch of the Las Chicas Cazadores Tour. The tour features Las Chicas, a group of talented Mexican brand advocates from Jalisco, Mexico, paired with Tequila Cazadores.
Throughout the United States, Las Chicas will educate consumers (21 and older) about different aspects of Mexican culture and heritage including traditional music, dance, costume, and of course, tequila.
In addition to the Las Chicas Cazadores Tour, a full-scale marketing program is being executed to promote the bout, the fighters, and the celebration of the Mexican holiday of Cinco de Mayo. This includes extensive radio promotions, targeted print media, off-premise activation via industry-leading point of sale materials during the key Cinco de Mayo period, and promotional activities in restaurants, bars and nightclubs (where legal) including margarita features and other authentic Mexican cocktails.
