RockYou launches in Puerto Rico, Latin America, and the US Hispanic market.

RockYou has partnered with Silicon Valley-based ES Interactive to deliver ads for ESI’s partners in the Caribbean and Latin America market, with an exclusive deal specifically for Mexico and Puerto Rico. RockYou, which has pioneered widget ad campaigns on Facebook, MySpace, and hi5, will join forces with ES Interactive to provide ads targeted to the large number of Spanish speakers using those sites.
“A large percentage of users on these social networks are Hispanic, and we believe RockYou provides a good venue for the consumer brands to reach them,” said Rebecca Albert, CEO of ES Interactive.
ES Interactive is a content and application provider for mobile carriers and portals throughout Spain, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and South America, and has established itself as one of the top interactive agencies in the Spanish-speaking world. Its reach extends to Spanish speakers in the United States as well. Its expertise in this area has enabled it to build relationships with mobile carriers and portals, consumer brands, and content providers to find innovative ways to deliver their marketing messages and content to Spanish-speaking end users. This deal with RockYou marks ESI’s first step into social networks and the social web, and represents a significant opportunity for both companies.
