Carlos Ponce new voice of State Farm.

“There’s a point in life where you have to work twice as hard to get where you want to be”. This is the line that Carlos Ponce narrates in ‘Airport’ one of the radio spots created by Alma DDB to complement the recently launched State Farm multi-media campaign called Intersections.

Actor, singer and composer Carlos Ponce, was signed to be the voice of State Farm’s new Hispanic advertising campaign. Alma DDB produced several Radio spots both in Spanish and English, and one bilingual. Ponce also lent his voice for the five TV commercials being released as part of this campaign.

“I am thrilled to be the official voice of State Farm in the Hispanic market. The message of the campaign is very creative and I’m proud to associate my name and voice with a great company like State Farm” affirmed Carlos Ponce.

The strategy behind the extensive voice over search was based on a specific plan to approach the consumer with a distinguished voice that is relevant, relatable, and respectful of who they are and where they are in life. Carlos Ponce was the perfect talent match for this unique profile that State Farm was looking for.

“Carlos Ponce’s recognizable voice, wholesome image and genuineness will undoubtedly resonate with State Farm’s Spanish-speaking audience, states Mark Gibson, assistant vice president of Advertising at State Farm. “State Farm is excited to be collaborating with such an accomplished artist.”

“We too are delighted to team up with Carlos Ponce as the official Voice for the State Farm Brand in the US Hispanic space. Carlos brings a personality that is at the same time human and honest, and has the credibility and authority we and our client were looking for. As the campaign theme reads: He’s totally ‘There’ for the Brand,” says Luis Miguel Messianu, President – Chief Creative Officer for Alma DDB, agency of record for the Insurance company in the US Hispanic market.
