Dryfoos – Senior VP of Business Affairs at Univision Communications.

Univision Communications Inc. announced that 20-year industry veteran Glenn Dryfoos is joining Univision Communications as senior vice president of business affairs.

Dryfoos will report to president and chief operating officer Ray Rodriguez and oversee business affairs for the company’s television, radio and online operations. Dryfoos will be based in Miami, Florida.

“We are thrilled to bring someone with Glenn’s wealth of experience to the team,” said Rodriguez. “His understanding of this dynamic market, knowledge of the industry and proven track record in domestic and international deal negotiations will be instrumental in our long-term growth strategy.”

Dryfoos joins Univision Communications from Telemundo Communications Group where he served as executive vice president of business affairs and was responsible for all programming production, acquisition and distribution matters for Telemundo Network and Stations, Telemundo Studios, Telemundo International and Mun2. Among his many functions, he oversaw license agreements with major U.S. studios and international third parties and production agreements for Telemundo Studio’s operations in Miami, Mexico and Colombia. Prior to that role he served as senior vice president and general counsel. Before that he served as senior vice president and general counsel for the Cisneros Television Group. Dryfoos began his career first as an associate and then as a partner at the Los Angeles law firm Greenberg Glusker Fields Claman & Machtinger.
