Mexicanal Network signs multicasting agreement with Journal Broadcast Group.

The Mexicanal Television Network announced their first multicasting agreement with the Journal Broadcast Group, a Journal Communications.
As early as third quarter 2008, viewers with the ability to receive digital television multicast channels in Journal Broadcast Group markets in Las Vegas, Palm Springs, Tucson and Boise can view Mexicanal Network’s quality Mexican programs including news, culturally relevant programs, regional sports and popular entertainment shows 24/7.
“This network allows us to serve the Hispanic viewers in our markets with high quality programming and opens up an entirely new business opportunity for our advertisers and our stations,” said Doug Kiel, Vice Chairman and CEO, Journal Broadcast Group.
