Bono to Alma DDB.

Eduardo Bono was appointed as Creative Director for the McDonald’s account. Bono was born in Chicago, but grew up in Mexico City, and in 1999 went back to his hometown and ended up in Leo Burnett, where he worked for 15 years. In 2005 he joined Bromley Communications to head the Miami office creative team in the Burger King account. In his career he has worked on virtually every product, from diapers to burgers to beer to cigarettes. His work has garnered numerous awards, including CANNES, FIAP and EFFIES.

The other two teams at Alma DDB will be lead by creative directors Mónica Marulanda and Fedo Casillas. All three teams will be under the direction of Executive Creative Director, Enrique Faillace.

In addition Luis Miguel Messianu, Alma DDD’s President and CCO, will be part of the final round judging at the 2008 Effie Awards. Messianu will also be speaking at the upcoming AD FED conferences in Miami about ‘The ever changing landscape of advertising and how Hispanic is becoming mainstream and mainstream is Latinizing’.
