Circuit City kicks off year-long education campaign for 2009 Digital TV Transition.

Circuit City Stores, Inc. will initiate a year-long, multi-faceted campaign to educate the public about the nation’s upcoming transition from analog to digital TV broadcasting, marking the one-year countdown with an interactive Web forum
hosted by Sound & Vision Magazine’s Technical Editor Al Griffin.

“Providing industry-leading information to consumers is one of our core commitments,” said Brian S. Bradley, Circuit City’s senior vice president, multi-channel. “We are ready to do our part to help Americans prepare for a significant shift in the way television is broadcast and received. We’re particularly pleased to be working with Sound & Vision Magazine, a well-respected and trusted source for television trends and information.”
