BOOM RADIO returns to the Miami airwaves.
December 7, 2007
After a break of nearly two years, BOOM Radio returns to Miami’s radio, a show with an alternative profile addressing all Hispanic audiences.
BOOM RADIO will air every Saturday at 1:00PM on WNMA 1210 AM. The show will be hosted by Enrique Posada aka Kike Posada, who brought in 1993 the first show, specializing in Rock Latino to Miami; and from that moment on, in the eyes of many skeptical local radio programmers, he has been seen as the forerunner of this sound in the US. Posada is acknowledged for being the first DJ who played Shakira, Juanes, Maná, Bacilos and Aterciopelados in US radio.
On what BOOM RADIO will bring this time around Posada says, “The show returns with a new face, and a new offer. Not leaving behind the Latin Alternative Music that people know us for in the Magazine and On Line, we are going to develop topics that are ignored in other radio shows, like cultural affairs, personal improvement, smart entertainment, family, and other subjects that will be to the preference of thousands of people.”
