Telemundo achieves growth in consecutive sweep period.

Telemundo announced their results for the November NTI and NSI survey period. According to Nielsen Media Research data, Telemundo averaged 530,000 Adults 18-49 in Monday through Sunday Prime, increasing plus 6% over November 2006 (456,000). Telemundo posted the largest gain vs. the competition compared to a year ago. This marks the third consecutive time Telemundo has surpassed the prior year sweep delivery in prime as both May 2007 and July 2007 were also above their respective year ago sweep deliveries. Neither Univision nor Telefutura can note this same achievement.
In November 2007, Telemundo’s delivery of Adults 18-49 during Monday through Friday Prime averaged 526,000, growing plus 11% vs. last year (474,000).
Telemundo’s 12 Corazones in the 7pm time period, was up plus 20% compared to last year with an average of 537,000 Adults 18-49 vs. 446,000 in November 2006.
In the 8pm time period, Madre Luna, has also increased its audience with 571,000 Adults 18-49, plus 20% vs. prior year (475,000).
At 9pm, Esclava Isaura, averaged 576,000 Adults 18-49, up plus 18% vs. last year (489,000). Telemundo offered the Esclava Isaura audience to vote on who was the murderer of one of the main characters, Leoncio, through Yahoo! Telemundo. This invitation created over 500 pages of user comments on the first night, and over 8,850 comments overall through the three week period.
Telemundo’s Al Rojo Vivo at 4pm, which premiered on November 12th, averaged 350,000 Adults 18-49 during the November sweep, increasing plus 13% vs. 311,000 in October 2007. The 5pm edition of Al Rojo Vivo, averaged 452,000, increasing the time period plus 20% vs. November 2006 (377,000). *
In Weekend Prime (Saturday-Sunday 7-11pm), Telemundo averaged 540,000, increasing plus 32% vs. November 2006 (409,000). Telemundo registered the largest year-to-year increase during the weekend among the three major Spanish-language networks.
Telemundo continues to deliver blockbuster movie ratings in November 2007 with the network airing six of the top ten weekend primetime films on Spanish-language broadcast TV among A18-49. Among total viewers (Persons 2+) Telemundo aired 7 of the top 10 primetime movies on Spanish-language broadcast TV during the November sweep.
Based on preliminary program data, the premiere of, Mas Vale Tarde, is off to a strong start, attracting larger audiences across all key demos compared to the prior month, the prior year and the current season-to-date average for the Thursday 11:30-12:30am time slot. The largest gains were evident among the younger 18-34 female audience. On average, 185,000 Adults 18-49 tuned it to the premiere, improving the time slot by plus 67% vs. November 2007, plus 60% vs. December 2006 and plus 42% vs. the current season-to-date average. Among total viewers, Mas Vale Tarde averaged 316,000, nearly doubling last month’s average.

New York
WNJU’s airing of Caso Cerrado ranked # 1 for Spanish-language stations in the market among Adults 18-49 (0.7) and homes (1.8). It also tied for first with Univision’s WXTV in the 4-5pm time period across the Spanish-language stations in the market among homes (1.2). WNJU pulls in a strong audience with Madre Luna with the top spot among Adults 18-49 (1.3) and homes (1.8). Early fringe also grew plus 50% vs. October 2007 (1.0 vs. 1.5) and plus 8% vs. November 2006 among homes (1.4 vs. 1.5).
Miami
WSCV’s daytime performance is enhanced with Caso Cerrado in the 2-3pm time period, outperforming the Spanish-language stations in the market among homes (3.9). Madre Luna also is # 1 amid Spanish-language stations in the 8pm time period among homes (5.6). Local early news increased its audience by plus 12% vs. October 2007 among homes (4.1 vs 4.6). Noticiero Telemundo airing on WSCV showed an audience increase of plus 3% vs. October 2007 among homes (3.8 vs. 3.9) and local late news also showed a growth of plus 10% vs. October 2007 among homes (4.0 vs. 4.4). Overall, WSCV’s prime average showed an increase of plus 15% vs. November 2006 among homes (4.1 vs. 4.7).
