Borja Perez named Alliance Leader of Yahoo! Telemundo.

Telemundo announced the appointment of Borja Perez to the new role of Yahoo! Telemundo Alliance Leader, in addition to his current post as Vice President, Market Development, Digital Media for Telemundo, effective immediately. The announcement was made by Peter Blacker, Senior Vice President Digital Media, to whom Perez will report to.

In this new role, Perez will work to synchronize the product, editorial, research, public relations and marketing between Telemundo and Yahoo! Sales teams to continue building the Yahoo! Telemundo Alliance.

Telemundo the preferred destination of our target audience.”

Perez’s responsibilities as the Yahoo! Telemundo Alliance leader include growing the Yahoo! Telemundo target audience, synchronizing Yahoo! Telemundo programming and editorial plan to leverage Telemundo content and Yahoo content and services, driving product enhancements, working with Yahoo! and Telemundo marketing teams to drive growth of US IP Hispanic users.

Perez is a Board Member of the IAB Internet Advertising Bureau, an Advisor Committee member of The Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies as well as an active member of The International Advertising Association.
