Xoom.com adds bank deposit service to Mexico.

Xoom.com announced the expansion of their Bank Deposit service to Mexico. Consumers with friends and family in Mexico can send money directly to a beneficiary’s bank account at most major banks, including Banamex, Banorte, BBVA Bancomer, HSBC/Bital, Santander Serfin and Scotiabank Inverlat. Bank Deposits to BANSEFI and BANSEFI’s L@Red de la Gente will be available at the end of the month.

With Xoom.com’s Bank Deposit service, money sent directly to a BBVA Bancomer bank account during business hours usually arrives in 15 minutes. The five new banks in Xoom.com’s Mexico network offer money available in the beneficiary’s bank account the next business day.
