Novamex announced the appointment of David Flynn as the company‚s new Group Brand Manager with responsibilities over the Jarritos, Sangria Señorial, Mineragua, and Sidral Mundet product lines. Flynn who recently closed his buying service, Amistad Media Group, has made the move to Novamex corporate headquarters in El Paso, TX.
He began his career in the Hispanic market in 1986 with Publicidad Siboney (now Siboney USA) as a media planner/buyer on the Colgate Palmolive account. Since that time, Flynn’s marketing experience has encompassed advertising, promotions, and media for a wide variety of packaged goods, retail, and beverage accounts such as Bristol-Myers, Unilever, Tecate, Coors, Wal-Mart, and JC Penney.
“Mr. Flynn is charged with continuing the growth of the iconic Mexican beverages. Working with a sales team that manages a network of more than 50,000 distribution points from coast to coast, Flynn will focus on all aspects of the brands‚ management including pricing, sales, consumer promotions, and advertising,” said Novamex Executive Vice President Sandy Gross.
