NAHP Board names Kerry Stackpole Interim Executive Director.

The National Association of Hispanic Publications (NAHP) has selected Kerry C. Stackpole, CAE as interim executive director replacing former executive director and chief staff executive Tom Oliver.

The NAHP board selected Stackpole following its decision to separate its headquarters from the NAHP Hispanic Press Foundation in Washington DC and relocate its offices to McLean, Virginia. NAHP contracted with Association Management Group to provide its new headquarters including management, marketing, meetings and financial services to the association. Roberto Arjona, graphics and production manager and Oscar Reyes, director of membership continue to serve the association and have relocated to the new headquarters as well.

“We are pleased to have found such an experienced and capable executive to lead NAHP during this transition period,” said NAHP President Clara Padilla Andrews. “With his innovative ideas, high energy and deep experience in association management, the Board is confident Kerry will be a strong and dynamic leader as we implement our plans for growth and new member services.”

AMG President and CEO Bruce Wardle said it was his pleasure to work with Padilla Andrews and other NAHP Board members in selecting Stackpole. “The appointment of an interim executive for NAHP provides the Board with a range of important options as they work to renew the growth and strategic direction of the Association,” said Wardle. “This process resulted in a close partnership between NAHP’s leaders and AMG as we worked together to find an interim leader who best met the Board’s selection criteria.”
