Nobox Marketing Group a Miami-based interactive agency concluded another successful crossover market assignment; this time for Lexus: The luxury automaker tapped Nobox to design and develop a mini-site, where tennis enthusiasts would be able to easily access information on Lexus-sponsored events that would be taking place prior to and on game days for the 2007 USTA US Open, the iconic Grand Slam tournament held each year at Flushing Meadows.
“To showcase Lexus’ sponsorship of the 2007 US Open, we turned to Nobox to help us develop a mini site that was both fun and interactive, while still remaining true to the Lexus brand”, said Lexus Interactive Marketing Manager Lynda Eguchi. “The team at Nobox delivered a product that exceeded both objectives in their creation of myownpursuit.com/tennis”.
The Nobox-produced mini site http://www.lexus.com/myownpursuit/tennis/index.html> ) is paneled-styled, consisting of three distinct clickable areas, each focusing on different aspects of the tournament. Within these panels users may access details of one of Lexus’ key promotional executions, the Lexus Virtual Open event at Rockefeller Center. Users may also retrieve E-shot photo submissions taken at the events, videos of participants of the Lexus Virtual Open event and Lexus promotional sponsorship commercials.
“2007 is proving to be another ground-breaking, banner year for Nobox”, said agency President Jayson Fittipaldi. “We will continue developing more crossover work, building upon the solid strategic foundation we’ve thus far established”.
