Brown – Director of Sales for BMP Radio San Antonio.

Border Media Partners (BMP) announced that Mr. Bob Brown has been named Director of Sales for San Antonio.

Mr. Brown got his start in radio at KTOK News Talk Radio in Oklahoma City in 1991 after receiving a degree in Advertising and Mass Communications from the University of Oklahoma. In 1998, he moved his family to Tulsa where he became the General Sales manager for KQLL “Kool 106 – Oldies Rock,” a Clear Channel affiliate. Other management stints include working as a GSM for Citadel at WKY and WWLS in Oklahoma City. In 2001, Mr. Brown was offered a job in San Antonio where he became GSM for KTSA. After BMP purchased KTSA from CBS approximately one year ago, Mr. Brown headed up sales management for its English stations. It is with pride that BMP announces that Bob Brown has now been promoted to Director of Sales for its entire cluster of both English and Spanish stations. Industry awards include being named “General Sales Manager of the Year,” by the AWRT Chapter in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1999, and he was also named Top Finalist GSM of the Year by AWRT in San Antonio in 2006.
