Manuel E. Machado, CEO/Co-Chairman of Machado/Garcia-Serra Communications (MGS) announced the promotion of Gisela Fabelo to Vice President of Finance. Formerly Comptroller, Ms. Fabelo will oversee financial operations for the Advertising company and the Agency’s below the line services, to improve efficiencies for integrated marketing practices provided by MGS. She will report directly to the Agency’s COO/Co-Chairman, Al Garcia-Serra.

Her exemplary judgment and high standards have been instrumental to MGS’ business growth, stated Machado. Added Garcia-Serra, “As we continue to expand our Agency capabilities, Gisela will have a more elaborate role in directing the company’s overall financial strategies and accounting operations.”

Fabelo’s expanded responsibilities include overseeing all accounting functions at MGS including internal and external reporting, forecasting, budgeting, compliance, audit preparations, cost management; as well as development and management of the company’s finance strategies. She will oversee a team of six finance associates.
